Hello! I'm Emma, Owner and Operating Manager of Ace Academics Tutoring.

 

I have a decade of tutoring experience. I seize every opportunity to teach and mentor—from teaching Sunday school, to mentoring incarcerated youth at my local juvenile hall, to preparing ESL immigrants for successful job interviews, to helping over 150 high school students prepare for standardized tests.

 

I am originally from Arkansas. I earned my B.A. in Political Science and Ethnic Studies in 3 years from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.​​

After scoring in the 99th percentile on the ACT,

I founded Ace Academics Tutoring in January of 2021.

I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My goal is to help my students become more critical thinkers, effective learners, and overall better versions of themselves. 

 

I aim to help students learn to believe in themselves and become more confident. I encourage students to have a radical growth mindset and aim high, while also taking care of themselves holistically.

I encourage enthusiasm, hard work, and consistent practice and commitment. I provide the tools and materials needed for students to stay organized and achieve their goals.
